I can't believe that I can get this to run behind freely available firewalls, but when I put all Cisco equipment into the mix, it doesn't work. So I'm getting I'm missing a setting somewhere on the VPN ASA, however I am doing network extension with the ASA, not just a client.

If I get rid of the transparent tunneling on my software client, I get the same behavior as I do with the VPN ASA. However when I configure UDP on the 3030, it uses the port for UDP. When I do that, it gray's out the port option, as it appears that's only used for TCP. What's funny is that I had to make a change on the software VPN client to tell it to use UDP. I don't see them for my software VPN client connection. When I'm trying to access anything across the tunnel, on the firewall ASA, I see alot of these messages:ġ9:20:31 305006 regular translationeation failed for protocol 50 src inside: 10.5.1.2 dst outside: Checking the tunnel status on the 3030 side shows the TX bytes incrementing, but no RX bytes. The tunnels come up, but I can't pass any traffic. I've walked through the config for EasyVPN again and am still in the same boat. I've upgraded the ASA image to 7.2.3 and the ASDM image 5.2.3. Ok, I came home, and did a complete factory reset on the VPN ASA.
